It is ail astonishing fact that the leaf produced in certain localities ol the Auckland and Nelson districts contains less nicotine than any other tobacco known. Ibis is of the utmost importance with regard to the development of the X.Z. Tobaeco industry, because it is just these mild types of leaf that are eagerly sought, after by manufacturers abroad, and fabulous prices are often paid for them. New Zealand indeed will liecome famous for its unique tobacco, and the local product will he our national smoke. Fnlike some ol the Foreign tobaccos, the X.Z. article does not bite the tongue, it smokes smooth and mellow and leaves the mouth sweet and clean. Moreover it is -ill pure tobacco with a distinctive flavour, o'vtainahle in various strengths.
