SCHOOL CHILDREN’S CERTIFICATES. V ESTER DAY’S PROCEEDINGS. At the Hokitika Swimming Baths yesterday afternoon, before a large attendance the school children swain for certificates issued hy the N.Z. Amateur Swimming Association, when the following children took part successfully. It must be gratifying to find such a large number of our young children able to swim such distances, and these records give some idea of the value of the tuition able to he given since the baths v-cre instituted. The proceedings were supervised by Mr A. H. l.awu and his officers, wlm were busily engaged during the afternoon in checking the various periormers.
