Ifcr'ACBXIUUAN AND N.Z. CAJILK ASSOCIATION. PHILIP SNOWDEN’S ARTICLE. (.Received this dav at 9.45 a.in.l PARIS, Feb. I. The “Matin’’ has published extracts from the article which Mr Philip Snowden wrote for the Vienna. “None Erie Prcsse,” allegedly after he became Chancellor of the Exchequer, in which he says that peace treaties the causes of international discord. British Labour favours a complete revisou of the treaties as essential to the peace of Europe and the restoration of economic prosperity. Labour was opposed to the French invasion of the Ruhr; also to aim to accomplish flic political destruction of Germany. Labour demands an immediate settlement of the reparations on generous terms, and will reduce Germany’s total reparations to the cost of reconstructing France's devastated regions, and it would reject unreasonable claims by small states. Labour favours reciprocal cancellation of inter-Allied debts.
