Wataroa Handicap, of 00 sovs.. one mile and a-quarter. —Rapid Rose (9.4) 1 ; All Ready (10.7) 2; Timera 3. Won by six lengths. Waitangi Handicap of 12 sovs.. six furlongs,—North Inch (8.6) 1 : Tantalus (8.9) 2. Won easily. Matanui Handicap, of 12 sovs., .six furlongs.—Cashman (3.12) 1 ; Preludium (8.0) 2. The two remaining races were won by Balefire, and All Beady.
