SALE OF STUD STOCK
At the Show Grounds yesterday following the grand parade a sale of stud stock was held by Messrs A\ . Jeffries t and Co. when the following lots were sold:— FRIES IA NS. On account of J. McAnuity, AAinchmorc. Ashburton : Lot I.—Bull (aged). Sir Abbeykerk Boy. 21 guineas, to Mr Andrew Scott, Kaiangarua. Lot 2.—8u1l (2 years). Abbe King Sagis, to Mr Spence at 35 guineas. Lot 3.—8u1l (yearling). Hero Van. Clover, to Mr W. S. Young, Koitjrangi, 25 guineas. Lot 4.—8u1l (yearling), Pietje Abbekerk, to Mr AY. A. Smith. VYaitaha, 29 guineas. JERSEYS. On account Mr Jas. Hunt. Nelson:— Lot 5.—8u1l (yearling), llalla Mona Gold Dash, to Mr J. J. Mclntosh. Hokitika, 25 guineas. On account Air 11. \A . Nicholls, Richmond. Nelson:- - Lot o.—Bull (yearling), Kai-whare’s Pom pew to Air. A\ m. Robinson, Reefton, 25 guineas.
