Advices from Peshawar report an aeroplane crash occurred three miles from Quetta, resulting in the death of passengers and a leading air craftsman. A. V. Stevens. DAYLIGHT ROBBERY. (Received this day at TO.TO a.m.) PARTS. Jan. 27. Armed bandits carried out a daring daylight robbery at Osterdags, a !'amnu s jewellery shop in the heart of a fashion-■-sf able shopping quarter. Three welldressed men entered and felled the door-keeper with blows from an iron bar, then shot the manager in the abdomen and head, mortally' wounding him and decamped with valuable booty. SALT REVENUE. PEKIN. January 27. The salt- revenue, for 192.3. after meeting administrative expenses, credited to the group of banks during the year amounted to 79,545.000 dollars, a decrease of G,244,000 dollars, compared with 1922.
