The committee visited Dunedin ami took the cviilen-e of about a dow*n witnesses. !l instated that they made a very careful examination ol tin present dental school and ol the work being dene there. They also examined the medical school buildings that are to lie vacated when the giant ( f £BO.OOO is expended on the school. The Comiuiiiee was then invited by U'o Auckland University Council In take evidence on (he proposal that a dental .school should he established in the northern city. The Acting-Minis-ter of Education (the Hon. 0. -Anderson) enlarged the scope of the committee to enable it to proceed to Auckland. 'this in due course it did, and took evidence in the northern city.
li is understood that the report of this committee lias now neon dratted, and that it contains some exceedingly important observations and recommendations.
Asked if he could make the report public, the Minister of Education, said he could not do .so yet. as Tie wished first to send copies of ii to the Otago 1 Diversity Council and iho Auckland Council, as well as to tlm Senate. for consideration next month.

Apparently as the result of the further information that has been elicited the whole question will have to be reconsidered by the University authorities and hv Cabinet.
