An imaginary land on the shores of the Balsation .Sen, called Alpania is depicted in “An Adventuress”. The story deals with the exploits of three young Americans, Jack Perry. Lyn Brook and Dick Sayre. The trio find themselves mixed up in the polities of llk merry land -'here bathing beauties, diving girls and bombs abound. The wicked plotter.- are desirous of restoring the monarchy, the Americans being more than determined that the government shall remain Republican. In fighting the euiispiiators Julian Eltingo has !o heeoine a beautiful woman, Alamsolle Fed ora. which displeases him not at all. However, lie has more than enough man-stuff L> do. including some real lie-fighting in an airplane. The popular serial “The l.ion Man” v.hieh is now neiuing the end will also lie shown and a two reel comedy completes a line, programme, orchestral selections and usual juices. PEERLESS PICTURES.
