A meeting of the Tournament Centre of the AVest Coast Bowling Association was held at Groynioutl: last evening. There were present:—Messrs J. Ring (Ciiainmm), AA'. Murray (Runanga), A. E. Benjamin (Hokitika). AA’. Blair, AA’. Scott, Blackwood (Greymouth), and D McKay. Hon. Sec. Apologies for absence were received floin .Messrs Blaxall and -Alore. 'Lite minutes were confirmed and correspondence approved. The Secretary reported 21 entries for the tournament—AA'estport 5, Runanga :!, Hokitika 2. Beckenham 2, St. Albans 1. Greyniouib. 9. A.- the re-ult cf enquiries, replies i.J.iVcd that '.-Kiting teams were in ii'-.-ur cf c.iter.dir!" the tournament oTct fytir -datt. and tine was agreed to, and it was also decided to play the rink.- in four sections ot live. A lengthy discussion took place over the nominations and ultimately it was agreed on the motion of Alessrs Murray and Beniamin that the Groynioutl: Club lie asked to arrange for the withdrawal of one of the nine rinks entered. so as to make the draw a more suitable one.

A number of matters affecting tbo tournament were dealt with, including and appointment of Alessrs Blackwood, and McTvny. to arrange the draw, for Mr AA'. Cochrane, to he acting Chairman, Mr Ring intimating he would he unavoidably absent from Greymouth {■•' tlie time of the tournament, of Air AY A 1 array, as official on the day of the Tournament. The appointment- ol an umpire was left to the Secretary to arrange.

In view of the arrangement made fo the extension ol play to four (lays it was resolved to play all games oil :lic Greymoutli green. Tt was resolved t. ask the Grey Club to take charge of the provision of refreshments, and beyond tile handing over of the green before the ciunineueement of play, the formal official opening tube place at th tea adjournment on the afternoon e< the first day's play. The meeting then terminated.
