EXHIBITION FLOWER SHOW.

<# ln connection with our report oi tlie Flower Show an error was made in connection with the competition for the test- rose in the Show. This was won by Mrs Keown, with a beautiful specimen of that ever popular rose “Hugh Dickson.” The committee bush to thank Mr Carter for his fine d.splay of cut blooms, also Mr John Close for the display of his very fine pot plants. Follow the band, at least go to-mght where you hear the hand play ami it will lead you to the Exhibition Slower Show, which is being held in the Soldiers’ Hall. The Show will he open to-night till 9.15 o’clock when there will be a sale of vegetables and flowers. The attendance yesterday was very pleasing, and one and all wei e surprised to see such a fine display.
