Mrs Jules Simon, wife of the late Jules Simon, n former publican and hotel-keeper in Westport, passed away at Wellington on of last week. She was one. of the old residents of Westport, A grown-up family of threo daughters and three sons mourn their loss. The deceased was a woman of very kindly disposition, whoso death is widely regretted.

The death took place at Karamea on Friday at the residence of his son-in-law and daughter, of Mr Hugo Moran, an old and highly esteemed resident of Westport.
