Many of the gentlemen affected occupy high position, in the service, and then retirement on superannuation will cause promotions tor officers throughout the service.

WELLINGTON, Jan. 17 The Minister ~f Agriculture stated to-day a .further appointment to the Dairy Produce Export Control Board had been made bv the .selection of Air \Y. F. Reynolds, member of the firm of Win. IT Reynolds and Co., Dunedin, for a seat on the Board as llu- second Government Representative. Mr Reynolds is a commercial man of long experience and standing, possessing a thorough knowledge of the business side of the dairy indnstrv, and being well acquainted with the producing side also. The Alinistcr considered that this appointment proved a marked addition to the
