In tilt' evening, when something of special interest comes along that might bring a fair attendance, it it hurried out of the exhibition building into a tiny, hot hull in case the exhibitors might get a stray shilling instead of its going to the executive. In spite of all this, we are charged space money on a par with a large, six months’ city exhibition, extras for lighting etc. Tho "Golden Sunset has become very clouded to most of us during our stay here, and our pocket much lighter. Hoping, ever Imping, for better times to come. I am etc.. “SOLD." Hokitika, 11th Jan., 102-1.
