FOUND SHOT.
AVAIMATE, January 10. James Shulc. a labourer, aged 43. married with 3 children, was found shot. The indications pointed to suicide. INCEST CHARGE. BLENHEIM, January 10. A man named Ambrose Joseph Lipiuski, was arrested at Rni Falls by tlie Blenheim police and charged with incest. It is alleged that tho crime was committed iir September last. Accused was remanded till Wednesday next, bail not being sought . STOLEN FROM A DETECTIVE. TIMARU, Jan. 10. At the S.M. Court. David Lauder was sentenced to four months hard labour for being a rogue and a vagabond. and also for stealing a .suitcase belonging to Detective Connolly.
