AUSTRALIAN AMI N.Z. CABt.K ASSOCIATION. GERMAN SAILORS’ STRIKE. WANT BRITISH RATES. LONDON, dan. 7. Tko crews of six German steamers struck at Hull, to secure English rates of pay. Thu master of one agreed to the demand that the men hencelort!' receive 19!) shillings, instead of CO per month. The strikers approached the local officials of the National Sailors' Cniun who communicated with Mr Havelock Wilson. The latter instructed that the strikers should he supported. Owing to the immigration laws, the strikers must return to their vessels nightly, hut they are being fed by the Union officials.
