Two telegraphic records were broken in CTiristelmrch, the lirst in the number of messages handled, and the second in the rapidity of their despatch, thanks to the installation of two multiplex, machines. The offices fonvarded 517.1 messages, against .'5770 a Ist year, and received 9330 against 7080, ami transmitted 18,681 against 11,077. A record was also established in postal business.
