The Xmas sale of fat stock at the Arahtira yards was hold on Alonduy lust t|,ore being a limited attendance of buyers present. The entry comprised RHi fat lambs, “AO fat sheep and A, fat cattle. Competition for lumlw and fat sheen was keen throughout- but the beef market was nut brisk, lop priqps for lambs was 27s !>d. being in the vicinity of 9d per lb., while lighter sorts make 8d to S.',d per lb. Sheep were firm, shorn ewes oil blades made 35 s tld equal to (id per lb., wethers made to 34s 9d, equal to 7d peril). A consignment of ewes and wethers, ex Elsie, from Okuru were passed at 32s yd. J’rices for beef remained as at last sale. Alessj*! AV. Jeffries and Co., sold on account oi the following vendors.— Alcssrs T. O’Neill, C. Hondo, AY. Oldero lambs at 265, 21 lambs at 245. 22 lambs at 27s 9d, 22 at 24s 9d, 30 at 255. IS at 23s 3d. 22 at 235.; 21 fat ewes and wethers at 35s fid. 30 at 2<s, 5 wether.- at 34s 9<l; 50 ewes and wetli-e-s at 33s 6d. On account Mr AV. Lyes, 2 bullocks at £l2 12s (id.
