HOKITIKA HOSPITAL BIAS. ( Grey Star ) Hokitika is suffering from a swfiled head on account of that Inhibition down there!’’ declared Air ,1. The Westland Hospital Board replied stating that it was unable to co-operate with the Board in this matter. The Inniigahua Board, however, stated that it would be pleased to support the Board’s application for the establishment of a laboratory. The Chairman (Mr J. W. Hannan 'i said that when the proposal was first mooted by the Board .each of the medical officers in the different West Coast hospital districts, including Westland, were consulted, and they expressed their approval of the scheme. A letter each was then forwarded to the Puller, Inhntigahv.a and Westland Boards, and the only one to reject, the proposal was the Westland Board. They stated, according to the discussion published in the Grey ••.Star,” that they wore quite satisfied to deal with the Christchurch laboratory.
