There was a chapter of accidents at Hie Waitnangaion school picnic on Satii 1 day. says the Westport “News". Finally the horse broke free from the ea,L, and the anxious onlookers were able to ascertain the extent of the damage done. .Miss Ivy Walker came off worst, with numerous had bruises. Indeed, she had quite a miraculous escape from getting under the wheels of the vehicle, her (Less catching on the step proving her salvation. Other children escaped with bruises and facial and body abrasions.
