AIR AH UR A FAT STOCK RALE. SPECIAL XMAS SALE. M. Houston and Co report : —\\ c held our spetial Xmas sale at the above yards yesterday to the usual attendance of buyers. 'I here was only a small yarding of lat cattle, but a yarding of sheep and lambs. Our entry comprised 2(> fat cattle and 2(111 fat sheep and lambs. Ox heel sold » well at recent rates and averaged 35* per hundred. Fat lambs realized bd per lb. whilst fat sheep sold well. The following wore the sales, viz:—On account of W. Thomson, 25 lambs at 24s (id, I ewe atj 30s; on account of Mr A. Karnhach. IS lambs at 255, H at 235, 15 fat sheep at 355, 25 shorn hoggets at 29s (Jtl : on account of Mr T. Staines, 27 lambs at 20s (id. 20 at •26s (id. 5 ewes at 33s fid; on account of Mr das Miiiehnn, 2 bullocks at £9 ss, 3 at £9 7s Cal. 2 at £lO 2- (id. 2 at CIO Ids. 2 at Cl l 12s (id. 4 at £ll 7s (id. 2 at £lO 2s (id. 2 at £lO 2s (id, 2 at £l.l 7s (id. 2 at CIO 12s (id. 2 t. £lO 10s: on account of a client 1 cow ami calf at £5 ss, l light harness mare at £ll.
