Despite wot weather a large number of people yesterday afternoon saw the start and finish at Hnnanga of the cycle road rare, over a distance of about nine miles, run between Runanga and Seven .Mile. There were fifteen competitors, who had to do the journey to and fro twice. The weather was much against the riders, they having to face a pretty strong head wind on the journey out, and ride in rain. The result was:—A. Twohill (off .}min marl;), time: 3-lmin Msec 1 ; L. Wilson (off lmin mark), time: SOniiu 40sec, 2; A. 11. Woods (off lmin 30sec mark) time: 32min 12spe 3.
