I have to report having inspected the fence on the old Christ church Road boundary, bath above and below Fox's Road complained of as a nuisance to stoek- drovers. The fences are the property of Roadman Olderog, the one above Fox's Road having been erect.-d by him about sixteen year? since, and although within four to six feet of the metalled mad is no inconvenience to any one using the read. The lower fence now 1,-ring erected is approximately live feet from the road edge, p-nrmns being beyond the toe of the embankment, and far enough off to prevent any injury to stock or inconvenience to stuck drovers. Tho fallen scrub, and small limber that was pni tly lying on .the outer portion of metalled road is nearly all removed, and is being used to erect a rough log fence to protect the young grass from wandering stuck. This rough fence iabout four feet from the road edge and is only temporary until the owner of the property can attend (o the erection of a more permanent one.
