AUCKLAND. Nov. 27. At a meeting of the Auckland Branch of the Political Reform League., Hon 11. F. Bollard was presented #Cth an illuminated address, congratulating him 011 his appointment to Ministerial rank. A resolution was carried unanimously recording li 1 vlt appreciation and grateful thanks to Mr Massey for the splendid work at the present and past Imperial Conferences, on behalf of the Empire generally, and New Zealand in particular, and pledging those present t,i do their utmost to maintain him olliee. The resolution also expressed a hope that, in the interests of Empire unity, the decision- of the recent Imperial and Economic Conferences will he upheld by the British constituencies, especially in regard to Imperial preference and Defence, at the elections next week. During the evening, HOll Downie Stewart and Hon Nysworthy delivered addresses,
