Air Topliss was the late head of the firm of .Messrs Topliss Bros., Christchurch. and i- well known all over New Zealand. His firm has manufactured all kinds ot dairy machinery, nio-t notably the Topliss churns, which have become a household word ill all dairy faelorio-. He lias been connected with the dairy industry for the past thirty years and is; at present farming and breeding stock'.
