Exhibitor- and exhibits are now arriving for the Exhibition, and this week will see the erection of many of the stalls. There are well ovei one hundred and forty stands of exhibits to he erected altogether. There is the pmmi.o of many line displays, as several exhibits will be lit specially. Some thousands (if pounds worth of goods "ill lie on exhibition, the preparation and staging of which will involve also a very g’cat expenditure. The whole venture promises to lie a great credit to the dist riot.
The Westland County Council is now taking steps to enforce the by-law relating to the liaousing of motor vehicles. Heavy payments for road machinery have to be met next month, ami as a reasonable period of grace has been allowed since the by-law came into force, pioseeulions in respect to breaches oi the law will now follow.
