McDonald, Wellington', took plate yesterday morning at St. Patricks Church, Oroymouth. The ceremony was performed by Rev blither MoMonagle. ttho also celebrated the nuptial ma.-s. The bride, who wa> given away by her uncle, Mr J. T. Martin, of Christchurch, looked charming in a creme eharnieuse frock with seed pearl tiimniiugs and girdle of silver flowers. ITei veil of embroidered tulle was arranged jn mob-cap style with a wreath or orange blossoms and festoons of pearls. She carried a shower bouquet of carnations and maiden-hair fern. She was attended by her two sisters, Misses Eileen and Molly. The fornier was attired in ouu-ilc-nil eharnieuse and the latter in pale mauve satin, with caps to match. They carried posies of |>mk und white daisies and maiden-hair fern. The bridegroom was attended by his
brother. Mr Frank McDonald ns best limn mid Air Tom II llillinium ns groomsman. As the bride mid bridegroom left the church the A\ eliding Alarch was beautil'ullv played by Mr T. w. After the eereniouy. the wedding party adjourned to Kverybndy s lea Rooms where the wedding breakfast was held. The lumpy couple left by yesterday morning’s express, the bride travelling in a nigger brown costume with lint en suite. They carry away with them the best wishes of a large circle of friends for their future happiness and prosperity. The presents were numerous and costly. CONDON—AITRTHA. The wedding took place on Wednesday at St. Patrick's Church, Kumara, of .Miss Bridget Martha, fifth daughter of Air mid .Mrs F. ALn-tha, of Kumara, and Mr Tims. Condon, son of Mrs.Condon, South Tleaeli, Orcymout-h. The wedding was a very pretty one and was witnessed hy numerous friends of the happy couple, testifying to their popularity. The Rev Father Seward performed the ceremony. The bride 1 , who looked exceedingly well in a dipss of white crepe do chine, entered the p church on the arm of her father. She was attended by Alixses Clara and Kate Afurtha as bridesmaids mid Misses Xorrie Reedy and Kate Sliaiinaban. nieces of the bride, as (lower girls. . Afiss Clara Murtlia wore apricot crepe do chine with lint to match. Afiss K. Afurtha wore silk voile and hide hat to match. The bridegroom was attended by Afr J. Bourke as best man and Afr Garrett Afurtha as groomsman. As the procession left the church the wedding » march was played hy Aliss Davis tailor. ' The bride’s parents entertained the guests numbering about 00, at a sumptuous repast at their home, Alain - c t., Kumara. The happy couple left yesterday on their honeymoon trip to Christchurch. They received numerous valuable presents. The bridegroom s presents to the bridesmaids were, a gold bangle to Afiss Clara Afurtlia and a pendant to Aliss Kate Murtha, and to the flower girls each a necklace, while the Tfrmqucts to the Mower girls "ere the gift of Airs Reynolds of Greymouth. Afr and Afrs Condon have the best wishes of a host of friends for theirfuture happiness and prosperity.
