HICKSON MISSION.
[by TKLEaRACII— t'Klt PRESS ASSOCIATION.] YESTERDAY’S EVENTS. ORKY.AIOUTII, Nov. 22 Again yesterday close on 2U ( I Patients were administered to by Mr J. AT. Hickson, though no outstanding cures were reported. Numerous cases of nervous disorder, however, were much improved. The church was filled as usual long before the service- was begun. Nearly half those present were sufferers and presented a most pitiful sight as they proceeded up the chancel to be administered to. Several eases of spinal disorder were much improved and one or two girl-, who have never before been able lo sit up uiuis-isted were able Io do so. Several old men, who have been crippled with rheumatics, it re able to walk much hotter but it is .possible that the power of auto-suggestion, as championed by M. Cone, the notable chemist of Nancy (Franco), was to a large extent responsible for their improved condition. Last, night Mr Hickson gave an address to the clergy on the forming of circles for the continuance of the healing mission. To-day he leaves tor Christchurch.
