ADJINCTON STOCK MARKET DROP IN BEEF. MUTTON ALSO CHEAPER. (3y Telegraph.—Special to Cuardian.) CHRISTCHURCH, This Day. Messrs H. Matson and Co., report as follows regarding their stock sale at Addington yards yesterday: CHRISTCHURCH, Nov. 21. Store Sheep-—A much larger yarding than hist week, comprising mostly of shorn, sheep and including some very good lines of forward wehteis. some coming from the Chatham Islands. Practically no ewes ami lambs were offering. There was u good sale throughout. Forward 1 and G*tooth wethers, made 24s to 295, best 2-tooth wethers ‘2ls (id to 2-1 s, others 17s to 21s; good 2-tooth ewes 26s Id, to 28s 9d. the market being fairly firm. Store Cattle—There was a large yarding, hut mostly of non-descript sorts, the demand being keen and all classes sold well. 3-year old steers made £0 10s to £7 ss, 2 years ditto £3 10s to £1 ss, yearlings 15s to JO*. 2 year heifers £2 10s to £3 ss. yearlings 30s to 50s; cows 20s to £3. pigs—A medium entry of fat pigs came forward and prices ruled on a pai with last week’s rates. Values

Store I’igs - A medium yarding and v:ilii‘-s receded in sympathy with, the lower prices offering for fat pigs. Values were :—Wen tiers Bis to 2-ls. small stores 10s to 275. medium 30-' to 395, large 15s to 50'. Beel- About 370 head "ere yarned as" against nearly 600 last week. In face of the ample supplies on hand, the market to-da.v was easier. ;n craging 20s below last sale.
