JACK IK co Of. a.v WEDNESDAY. I’iflrons to the Princess Theatre tire :i -inlio-fl of a pictorial treat on Wodii. day and Thursday of this week, wlion two extra special programmes will he presented. On Wednesday Jackie Coogan. the world’s favourite will he seen in his latest hig success entitled “Trouble”. On Thursday alary Carr, who was famous’ for the part she played of Mother in “Over the Mill” will appear also in her latest picture entitled “Silver Wings.” Jackie Coogan. who lilts t became famous in “The Kid” with Charlie Chaplin ami again later in “.My Roy” has even done better in his latest picture “Trouble.” It is full of new, bright, fresh hits of fun. and what is known on the stage as “business.” Whoever thuglit out all the new funny things Jackie docs in this was a genius, there is enough new comical ideas to make five ordinary good comedies, and there are places too when you will find the tears perilously near the surface. Jackie commences as a small hoy in an orphanage, and lie lias a dog. Watch him out-general, the tyrant overseer, who orders the dog out. The dog seems to enjoy it as well. Then the orphanage is disbanded, and the kids are all disposed of. Jackie is the last to be wanted, and ho is taken by lovely (florin Mope, who is a brutal plumber's wife. Sin? hopes that a child will soften bis hard heart. A good supporting series will also he presented. On Thursday the Mother of “Over the Hill,” Mary Carr, will appear in

“Silver Wings.” It is easy to see why Mary Carr is a successful screen mother, especially when one visits the little lady’s New York city homo. There she is surrounded by her own six children ranging in age from (5 to I!). May Roth, who appears with her mother in “Silver Wings,” is the youngest and lamella the eldest. I lie orchestra will play a selected programme and usual prices will lie charged.
