The Ii.S.A. Minstrels visited Kokatahi last night and despite the inclemency of the weather there was a good attendance at the performance which was very well received« The members were in good voice and the chorus work wont well. The first part was their usual plantation setting, the second part was vaudeville, and the various artists met with a good reception especially Mr G. Wright, his comedy work being of a very high order, lie was ahlv assisted in his sketch work hv Mr J. Timhrcll and Mr Bain. Other items were given by Messrs 1,. Aldridge, S. Brooks and J. Timbroll. The large orchestra were up to their usual high standard under Air W. Joyce. After the concert dancing was indulged in till the early hours, the full strength of the orchestra suplying the music, and Mr Joyce was complimented on the orchestra's very tuneful work. The U.S.A. Minstrels will appear at Bimu next Friday. and will give a benefit to the local Five Brigade on Wednesday. Nov. 28th.. in tiie Princess Theatre.
