Store pigs.—A very large entry. The demand for verniers and small stores eased, luit medium and large stores sold well. In the face of very large entries of both beef and lamb the market consequently opened somewhat easier than last sale, and the quality was very irregular. but included a few excellent lines. More ewes were yarded than usual, and the market showed an average drop of Is to Is (Id, mostly shorn sheep. Prime wethers made 33s 671 to 395. extra to 435. medium 29s to 335, lighter down to 2Ss 6d: prime ewes 27s (3d to 32s (Id. extra to about 375. medium 25s (3d to 275. others to 21s.
