AN OPEN LETTER TO THE PUBLIC.
Friends.—lt is the intention of the Returned Soldiers' Association to place headstones on the graves of returned men buried in the local cemetery. There aie six men interred there, over two of whom the Government will place stones. There are four other graves at present to he provided for. A Dominion tiesign lias been approved by tilt? Association. so that all similar graves may ho marked by a uniform stone. It is simple ami appropriate, and for all time will indicate to those who pass by that the cite interred offered his service and sacrifice for all in the Great War. The fund has a. total now of Cl ! 12s Id. Further contributions will he received, and it is Imped to have the stones placed in position before next Anzao Day.
