Messrs Al. Houston and Co. have a preliminary notice in this issue with regard to an auction sale of the valuable farm in South Westland, of Air Al. Patrick. The Chief Postmaster advises that mails which left Auckland on the 9th October via Vancouver, arrived in London on the lfltli inst.
