A i the Supreme Court to-day, Thomas Joseph Christie, charged with breaking and entering and theft in respect to the farmers’ co-operative premises at Dunedin and Mosgiel. was found guilty on both counts and remanded for sentence. Henry Erquhart and .lames Butman were charged with (J) breaking and entering with intent to commit a crime, and 2) being unlawfully in a dwelling-hmt-e. Both were found guilty on the second charge, and sentenced to three years’ reformative treatment. AUCKLAND. Nov. 7. At the Supreme Court, Norman Gibbs 13. formerly secretary to Thames Harbour Board, who had admitted 2S charges of theft and live of forgery, was sentenced to reformative treatment not exceeding three year-.
