All the Do minion representatives expressed gratitude to the British (lover cut for the offer to increase preference. It is understood the British (iovernment today announced further picleremcs which are expected to considerably benefit the Dominions. They will take the form of new duties against foreigners, while the llcauiuiou.s products will be free. It is believed the new duties proposed include live .shillings per Itrndredweight on apples. Ids (id per hundredweight on honey, sixpence per gallon on fruit jukes largely used in England in the manufacture "I jams. It is nndcstnnd also that the preference to Dominion heavy wines will he increased front one third to two thirds. jLp. It is believed the (lovernment is further considering an increase in preference on sparkling wines.
