He and bis assistant shouted for help, and at dawn the i cst day their cries were heard. A rescue party set out. but meanwhile a snowstorm made approach to the ledge impossible. To reach the summit by another route took a long time. When the party reached it they lowered food to the two men and then hoisted them by tile rope. Both Otto and bis companion were too weak to stand, but they are recovering in a hut near the mountain-top.
