HICKSON MISSION.

The Hickson Mission in Napier was opened this evening by a public service in St. John’s Cathedral, which was tilled in every part by an immens:. crowd, not even an inch of standing space being vacant, and outside were hundreds who were unable to gain ad-mu-sieu. So largo was the crowd that the assistance of the police was necessary to regulate the traffic, which did not get out of hand. The gathering at the Cathedral tonight. indicated the intense interest which is being taken in the Alisson diirng which some eleven hundred persons wll ho presented for the laying on of hands. To-night's service will he public, but on tins succeeding days, admission requirt's tr, I,<- try li"k<-T. in order that patient- might receive attention. The first healing service will be held to-rnorrov morning. Mr Hick-on delivered an address similar to those given in other centres.
