I he Probation Officer staled he had secured employment for the prisoner as a kitchen-maid at the Maidstone Girls’ Home. Counsel tor the present baronet the prisoner’s step-son. said that lie was "dliiifx to assi-a her financially if she were willing to no to the Girls’ Home. The prisoner interjected : “It i- rather late lor this offer." after her experiences. The accused agreed to accept the work offered, whereupon Hie Mas diseluirced.
