ARAL! UR A FAT STOCK SALE.
Messrs At. Houston and C'o. report: Our usual fortnightly sale was held at the above yards yesterday, our entry consisting of 53 head of Inf cattle. The usual buyers were in attendance and competition was good, the full yarding being cleared at prices much tin a par with those of the previous sale.
We sold on account of Air AA'. I*. Diodriehs 3 bullocks at £l4 12s bd, 3 at €l2 12s Oil, 3 at €l3 17s (id, 2 at £l3 12s (id, 1 at €7 7s (id, 3 at €l2 os, 2 at £ls 17s fid, 2 at. £ls, 2 at .CIS 12s fid, 2 at Cl 5 7s (id, 3 at £ls 2s (id, 2at €l7 10s, 2at £l7, 3at €l7 12s fid, 2 at CIO 2s fid, 1 at €l2'lss, I stag at £l2, 1 stag at- C-l 17s Od, 2 heifers at £lO 7s fid, 1 at C 8 15s, 1 at et l 17s fill, 1 cow at ;C!1 12s Gil, 3 light heifers at Co ls2 fid; on account of F. Finch 1 bullock at .€l4 10s, 2 at €8 ss.
At the above yards yesterday 92 fat sheep and 55 head of eaLlle were yarded to the usual attendance of buyers. Competition was firm throughout the sale, both sheep and cattle selling well up to' late rates and in many cases orpialling that of Addington. The bulk of the yarding came from Air AA*. Diedl'iehs ,of Koitornngi. the fptalily being good. The top price being £2O for a three-year-old Hereford bullock. Prime ox ranged from 42s to 48s fid, medium quality 38s to 455, lioifor and cow beef varied according to quulitv from 3()s lo 37s fid. Afessrs AA*. Jeffries and Co. sold as follows :
