AMERICAN INTERVESTION
(Received this day at 8.50 a.m.) NEW YORK. Sept. 20. At Atlantic City, a (.(invention of American Bankers Association adopted a resolution asking President Coolidge to appoint mi official representative on the Reperations Committee and that the American Debt Funding Commission enter into negotiations witu England and France in connection with such part of the reparations question as may fie included in inter-Allied indebtedness. The resolution adds that the question of policy of complete isolation Horn European affairs cannot he maintained indefinitely without a grave danger to American interests. The resolution is considered to show that bankers favour a partial cancellation of the war debts and direct American participation in the solution of European problems.
