MEETING AT KOITERANGI
At a mooting held at Koiterangi Public Hall on Monday evening Afr T. Buxton (lecturer for New Zealand) gave an address on matters of great interest to primary producers. There was a good attendance from all parts of the District, who listened with great interest to an instructive address given l>v Air Thos. Buxton. Dominion lecturer and organiser tor the Xew Zealand Farmers’ Union.
A strong branch of the organisation was formed. Afr AY. Jamieson was unanimously elected Chairman, and Air A. J. Shannon, as Secretary and Treasurer. A Committee of nine was appointed with power to add. The branch is to bo worked as “Koiterangi-Kokatnlii” and will have men on the Committee to represent ail parts of these districts. Kokacahi farmers have not yet been properly canvassed. When this is done and they are found to give the support they have promised, a meeting will he held in each centre alternately. Over 30 members joined up at Koiterangi, the farmers showing commendable interest in uniting to protect their own interests.
