The mere fnot that a stage plat scores a great success is no certain indication that a screen presentation can duplicate the. Universal can well he proud of “Human Hearts,” the pietuli/.ed version of Hal Reid’s :onineiit stage success, which swept the country a decade or so ago, and will he shown at the Princess Theatre tonight. "House Peters, one of the finest emotional actors in pictures to-day, firings to the role of Tom Logan a sympathetic understanding and dramatic ability of such a high order that the characterisation can well be termed a masterpiece of emotional acting. Throughout the production is perfectly cast. Tn fact, it is one of the few pictures that really deserves the distinction of being called "all-star. Edith Hallor’s work as the city siren marks her as an actress whose work will he worth watching, Glie portrays womanly softness and coyness, as well as hard boartedness and bitterness, in a finished stylo one sees all to seldom. Others deserving special mention in lh“ large, east are "Russell Simpson as “IV’ Logan, Gertrude Claire as “Mu,” Geo. Ilackalhorne as Jimmy Logan, Mary Philmn. as Ruth, Suit/.
