ICSTRALIAN AND N.Z. CABLE ASSOCIATION. IRISH LOAN PROPOSAL. LONDON, Sept. 25. The Irish Free State Government suggests for discussion at the Imperial Conference the establishment of -reciprocal measures by which the Government loans of all the Dominions might become a trustee investment stock throughout the Empire. BULGARIAN RISING GROWS. BELGRADE, Sept. 24. There is a state of siege throughout Bulgaria. The Government is mobilising all reserve officers.
ALEPPO PEOPLE’S AGITATION. LONDON. Sept. 24. The “Sun’s” Anatolian correspondent says the situation in Aleppo is the gravest. The population are demanding its full restoration to Turkey. Genoral Weygand lias decided to abandon the town, and in case of danger, to establish a new line of defence in front of Hama. CORFU EVACUATION. ROME. Sept. 21. The second division of the Italian fleet has left Taranto for Corfu, where it embarks the troops of occupation, who leave the island on lliursday. BRITISH BALLOON IN THE SEA. BRUSSLES, Sept. 25. A British balloon descended in to the sea northwest of Skagcn. The crew are safe. The balloon was towed in. VOLCANO BREAKS OUT. KOBE, Sept. 21. A volcano in South Japan is active. The ashes are damaging the crops over a wide area. The Japanese authorities are sounding the South American Governments regarding amending their immigration rules to permit the immediate entry of many Japanese families who are now homeless, which Government will assist to establish abroad.
