Cass Square, oil Saturday, giUli. ilist. at S p.m. Shareholders, doubtless, are aware that at the Statutory Meeting there is very little of great interest to discuss respeeling finance. The factory is nearing completion, and as can ho seen will easily ho olio ol the latest and host of its kind in New Zealand. Ihe works should he in readiness to commence in about six weeks' time, and have been erected and designed to cope with cream from a very large area. It is interesting to record the remarks passed by opponents (at present) that “tin' factory is built 10 years ahead of its time,” but we feel sure shareholders ami suppliers alike will not be found wanting in demonstrating their appreciation of the accomplishment of the fact of being advanced ton years ahead into it new era of prosperity. In addition to the butter manufacturing side of the business, the told storage I'acilties have received your careful consideration, and are well under way. It can readily be seen the dual operations of the Company must return protitable results, and your directors congratulate shareholders on the business foresight and wisdom in commencing such a desirable establishment. Our Managing Director (Mr 11. I. Parry) is the architect and builder of tin 1 works, and already his abilities are evidenced in the work undertaken. Your Directors express the utmost confidence in his management. and congratulate shareholders on the appointment of one whose many practical abilities must he o! exceptional value to the Company, and very materially help to place the Factory advantageously and economically in competition

with others. Our estimated cost of buildings and plan! was originally £B,IIOO. but your directors have very much pleasure in informing shareholders lliaL m conjunction, and together with the exertions ol the Managing Director, notwithstanding the extensiveness of the works, the proposition will be launched lor nutlet £O.OOO.
