Mr B. J. Kortlaug, who recently returned from England, said he got a great shock when in London. He called at New Zealand House, and to his surprise and amazement, there were only four or five New Zealanders employed there. They are slowly being forced out by Home people. With all due respect to the Englishmen—and he loved England, it is wrong without a doubt to have Englishmen in a New Zealand Government controlled office, and in the pay of the New Zealand Government, when there are plenty of New Zealanders who know the country thoroughly well and can give the correct information about it. He hoped some member ol Parliament takes this matter up. as it is very vital, owing to the large number of people from the Dominion who will he in London next year, and the number who .will follow. We are paying pur money to employ people who personally know nothing about fhe Dominion.
