THE KYBER MURDERS

Reuter’s Eeshawar correspondent says that, in connection with the Orr and Anderson murders at Kyber, the Afghan Government is concentrating troops at Jalalabad. One lavalry regiment lias arrived, and six infantry regiments are expected, accompanied by two batteries. Operations will be commenced against the Ranghukel tribe, to which the murderers belonged. The most important work of this year’s session of the Assembly ol the League of Nations is to draft a treaty fo mutual assistance enabling a reduction of armaments. The committee dealing therewith hiiheito has adopted C.iiYeen out of nineteen articles.
