The star feature will introduce a Uni versa! Film of special merit. It will depict Gladys Walton (a. special screen favorite) in “High Heels” deseri'-eil as a picture with kick! The picture is really a greater Universal, and will tell the. story of a millionaire flapper who'was nothing if not frivolous, and who found happiness and a true understanding of life through a disaster which overtook her. The heroine will he found to he. adorable. There '-ill be many a merry laugh, a few sighs, and then at the close of this epic of a flapper, great delight with the happy ending.

Tlie public of Hokitika and district who appreciate all Mr and Mrs McLean have clone to assist local institutions will roll up in force. An impromptu dance follows at the ,Soldiers’ Hall.

CABARET NIGHT, WEDNESDAY. SOLDIEILS’ HALL. Wednesday evening at the Soldiers’ Hall will be cabaret night. Mr A. Bonctti’s jazz orchestra will be in lull strength, and will play a special dance programme. Tin* Soldiers' Hall contains an ideal dancing floor, and the attendance is sure to be large.
