Another extraordinary “get rich quick” scheme which, though still incipient. may rival Rimzi’s inverted financial pyramid, was revealed when a stock brokerage house of German alli- ■ iation sent circulars to a thousand German-Americans, asking them to combine in a movement to undermine the financial position ol h ranee, through causing the downfall of the lraue and thereby assuring tin* Erent b withdrawal from the Ruhr. The circulars declare that this is the opportunity to recoup losses from the fall of the mark and at the same time achieve a patriotic goal. The firm undertakes, on the basis ol a percentage, to sell for its customers francs subject to future delivery. The firm states that the franc which is now selling at live and a half cents, must continue to decline and these sales for future delivery, if in sufficiently large quantities, will force the franc, away down.
