There is phenomenal booking for the Auckland-Hawke’s Bay Raufurly Shield match to-morrow. The whole stand was, hooked in three hours. The Union is erecting an additional stand to seat 400 people. The Auckland team has arrived, and is as follows: —Backs:Wright, Malloy, Cooke, Lucas, Ifwersott, Sheen. 44 right, Buckland, "Wilson and Twoiiey; iorwards: Arnold, L. Casey, R.‘ Casey v Peters, Fogarty,* O’Brien, Hayward, Kearv, Knight and Rightoii. A RETURN MATCH. i AUCKLAND,, Sept. 22 A return match between Hawke’s Bay and Auckland Rugby teams will be played oil Auckland Domain ot Saturday, October fith, and the proceeds from the game will go to' the Auckland War Memorial fund. The question of whether the Ranfttrly Shield will again he involved has not been decided. N.S.W. TEAM DEPART. WELLINGTON, Sent. 21 The N.S.W. team left Wellington today by the Ulintaroa. A large gathering saw them off. Mr Bosward - manager) said they were greatly indebted to Now Zealanders generally for their great hospitality. It was unfortunate they had been unable to bring the strongest N.S.W . team. Had they done mi the games might have been closer. He resented any imputation that the team was guiltv of any illegal tactics.
