[by TF-I.ECRANI —PER PRESS ASSOCIATION.] N.S.AV. TOUR. WELLINGTON. Sept. 11l Air Bosward (manager of the New South AVales team) said N.S.AV. appreciated the encouragement New Zealand gave them in their efforts to light the League. On Saturday they had put our their dry weather team and the rain had unset their calculations. In Australia, on hard grounds, they found big men could tint stand the pace and they were being eliminated. Sheehan, the visiting captain, said they bad been beaten fairly and squarely. All through the tour it had been the case of the good little man against the good big man.

At a dinner to the teams, Air Griffiths (New Zealand manager) mentioned a fact not generally known, that the provincial teams on this occasion were specially trained to meet New South Wales, which he said, resulted in the latter being almost strong enough to meet All Black combinations.
